I can't f
ing believe it and yet I'm not surprised at all, but motherf
ing Fox is seriously considering canceling Arrested Development, the best sitcom on network TV in the last few years (tied with Scrubs).
Here's the info:

There seem to be plenty of us who are pissed that the show might be canceled. There's a "Save Arrested Development" PETITION (http://www.petitiononline.com/Arrested/petition.html) and a "Save Our Bluths" FORUM (http://www.SaveOurBluths.com).
I was the 11,460th person to sign the petition (Wen was # 11461 and there were 11,479 total signatures by the time it took me to type this far). I signed the petition to save Family Guy back in the day. It didn't work immediately, but eventually FOX listened to fans and now FG's coming back.
Sadly, Arrested Development might be canceled because "Fox opted to slide American Dad into Arrested Development's 8:30 p.m., Sunday slot, starting May 1."
Now I love Seth MacFarlane and Family Guy, but the American Dad premiere after the Super Bowl was a wretched disappointment. I was dumbfounded by how much it sucked big floppy donkey dick and it boggles my mind that Fox is considering replacing Arrested Development with a stinker just because 15.2 million people kept their TVs tuned to Fox after the Super Bowl.
I realize it's lame that I'm ranting about a TV show. In the grand scheme of things, how much does a fricking TV show really matter? I mean, c'mon!!! But still, it just gives me one more reason to hate Rupert Murdoch and the stupid bastards at Fox. I know no one ever reads this blog and if they do browse it, I doubt they'll read this far down my rant, but seriously, if you have not yet seen Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism, buy/rent/steal it now. And don't get me started on how much The Simpsons sucks now... it makes me cry to see what used to be such a brilliant show fizzle into a weekly crapfest.
UPDATE (09/19/05):
Arrested Development is back!!!
