Liz is my classmate in the UCLA Animation Workshop.

She's a great animator. She animated the music video for the Death Cab for Cutie song "Your Heart is an Empty Room."

I learned the hard way that you should never come between Liz and her cupcakes:

Jon is my doppelgänger, Jon Morley. It's scary how much we are a like. Jon and Nate were best friends back in St. Louis.

Jon loves argyle sweater-vests. Those pictures at the top are from Mike and Matt's Punks and Preps party, but Jon showed up all prepped out just by wearing his normal outfit, the same one he wore to his birthday party months before, as evidenced below:

I met Nate through Sam at UCLA. He and Sam were roommates for a while.

Nate is a super cool guy, and I seriously think that he and Sam would make a great couple (maybe even better than Sam and I) cuz they have so many common interests.

Nate and I get along really well because it turns out my doppelgänger, Jon Morley, was his best friend back in St. Louis.

Katie, Matt Flynn, Me & James

Matt Flynn is a super cool guy and a very talented animator. He's so talented in fact that Matt and a couple of his buddies are currently in negotiations with Cartoon Network to development a series.

Tripp is a really cool cat. He's one of Kurt's colleagues from USC's Interactive Media MFA program and he's Kurt's new roommate after Kurt moved out of my apartment about a year ago.

He's also a damn fine DJ. He spun records all night long for the 2005 UCLA Festival of Animation and the faculty, staff & students all agreed that he was one of the best DJ's "The Prom" has ever had.

Tripp's blog on his website is the main inspiration for my blog since he was one of the first people I knew who did such a wacky thing as keep a public online diary.

I've known Kurt since the 3rd Grade at Junipero Serra Elementary School.

He and I (along with Greg and Shahab) have been best friends all through Elementary School, Middle School, High School and UCLA Undergrad.

Kurt was one of my roommates during my 3rd and 4th years of Undergrad at UCLA (Greg and Wen were my other roomies) and he was my roommate again during our first two years of Graduate School, though Kurt went to USC in the Interactive Media MFA program while I returned to UCLA for my MFA at the Animation Workshop. Right before our third year at grad school, Kurt moved out of the apartment and into Tripp's place while Sam moved in with me.

Kurt's a very creative guy and a man of principles (he's a vegan).

James is my classmate in the UCLA Animation Workshop. He's an amazing artist and a hilarious goofball. He takes his sketchbook everywhere he goes.

He's integrated really well with all my other circles of friends, including Sam's crew, because he's so damn funny and everyone loves him.

James helped me move Sam into my apartment, and he rode with me in Negin's Jetta halfway across the country in the Summer of 2005 to help Negin move in with Greg in Austin, TX.
