Bravo!

I too had someone give me a 'tip' on this film and its 'remarkable' insights while sitting at Starbucks the other day.
I quickly got into an argument over the assertions they proferred regarding the films conclusions vis-a-vis quantum mechanics and conciousness.

As a BSc Biology grad, I see this tiresome ignorance of science too often and am often reminded of the truism: "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing".

Long story short: I thought it sounded like claptrap; on viewing, it IS claptrap; on web investigation it's also a recruiting film for a cult more whack than scientology.
Glad my (and your) bullshit detector is turned on!

ps:For a REAL oddysey through modern quantum physics theory I recommend NOVA's The Elegant Universe.

Well I’m sorry to see you spiting ignorance rage. Perhaps you might want to watch the movie again, perhaps the quantum edition with mode9 turned on than you will hear the detailed explanations of the water experiment. They DID froze the water than left it overnight at the snowflake temp. – won’t go into details – is called research!!!- The rest of your blab…again is ignorance in full force of someone who obviously needs to go back to school study quantum physics, the history of religions, genetics, chemistry, philosophy, spirituality and most importantly be of open mind – . Than perhaps and only than you might be open to lifting the fog you are walking at present times. It was one of the most amazing movies ever. I can only compare it to a peek a vague one still in diapers to the tremendous potential of what we call humanity. The future that is, I feel saddened not only of your vicious comments foul language left aside, I feel more saddened that someone obviously young can be so mentally blocked. You remind me of Marconi’s family the people that admitted him into the mental asylum because he was shouting out loud saying that he can send people’s thoughts, and voices through the air. I suppose you have a radio?!? Your mind –set very interesting actually …I imagine if you were living like 5-600 years ago you would be pro burning witches at the stake because they won’t f…k w you right? …testosterone occluding your dwindling brain… And yeah ************* to your sublime ignorance. All I wish for you is to wake-up bro.

lol, lets use wikipedia (The all knowing FACTUAL online encyclopedia) as a basis to discredit accomplished quantum physicists.
I forgot that a critical internet blogger usually has the more intelligent basis of an argument.

Maybe you should start poking fun at Stephen Hawkings work too.
